About Total Loyalty Company

Total Loyalty Company (TLC) is a provider of corporate wellness solutions and client engagement programs. Recognizing the growing demand for holistic well-being offerings, TLC integrated Upmood's emotion detection technology into its new Tai Chi sessions for corporate professionals. The goal of this innovative offering was to provide participants with more than just a physical exercise; it aimed to heighten their emotional awareness by allowing them to experience and understand their body's emotional state in real time. Emotion monitoring was important because it provided a tangible, data-driven layer to the ancient practice of Tai Chi, validating its calming effects and helping participants connect with their internal feelings.


Real-Time Insights in Motion

In 2023, TLC launched its new Tai Chi sessions, where participants engaged in the practice's signature slow, gentle movements, deep breathing, and meditation. Throughout the sessions, participants were monitored using Upmood Mass. This group monitoring system, combined with Upmood wearables, allowed TLC to collect real-time data on the emotional state of the entire group. This process provided an objective map of how participants' moods, stress levels, and other emotional metrics shifted during the Tai Chi practice, creating a unique, real-time feedback loop.
